Sheathed thermocouple and thermal resistance has the advantages of easy to bend, high pressure resistant, short response time and strong durability. It is similar to assembly thermocouple and thermal resistance. It’s the sensor to test the temperature. It is usually used matched with display instrument, recorder and electronic regulator. It can also work as the temperature sensing element of assembly thermocouple and resistance.

Besides, it can test the surface temperature of steam, gas medium, liquid and solid under the temperature of 0 ℃～1100℃(thermocouple ) and -200～500℃(thermal resistance) in any production process. Sheathed thermocouples are used together with the display instrument, which is similiar to normal industrial thermocouple. They can test and adjust automatically of the surface temperature of steam, gas medium, liquid and solid under a certain scale.
Working principle

The electrode of the sheathed thermocouple is made of two different conductor materials. If temperature difference happens between the measuring end and the reference end, the thermoelectric force will happen and the corresponding temperature value will be shown on the working instrument.
